FAQ

Buy Echo Beads for Where Winds Meet: packs, Monthly Pass and Battle Pass tiers

Where Winds Meet, developed by Everstone Studio and published by NetEase, is a wuxia open-world action RPG set in the Five Dynasties era β€” the turbulent decades between the fall of Tang and the rise of Song, around 962 CE. The global build went live on 14 November 2025 for PC (Steam, Epic, NetEase launcher) and PlayStation 5, with mobile (iOS and Android) following on 12 December 2025. By February 2026 the game had crossed 80 million registered accounts, and the Hexi Finale "Qinchuan" update on 30 April 2026 closed out the long-running Hexi story arc. Echo Beads are the premium currency that funds the Celestial Echo gacha banner, the Monthly Pass and the cosmetics shop.

  • Buying Lingering Melody tickets for the Celestial Echo banner (200 Beads = 1 ticket)
  • Activating the paid Battle Pass tiers β€” Elite and Collection (listed here as Premium)
  • Picking up the Monthly Pass β€” a 30-day subscription that drips a daily Echo Jade allowance
  • First-purchase bonus delivered as Echo Jade, not extra Beads
  • Cosmetics and items from the Weiyang merchant
  • Buying Battle Pass levels in Echo Beads when you need a late-season push

Echo Beads and Echo Jade are two separate currencies

WWM's premium economy does not work like the HoYoverse template. Echo Beads are bought with real money (roughly 60 Beads per $1) and feed the Celestial Echo banner through Lingering Melody tickets β€” 200 Beads exchange into 1 ticket. Echo Jade is the soft currency you earn from quests, events, the Monthly Pass and seasonal rewards, and it feeds a different banner β€” Solemn Echo β€” via Resonating Melody tickets at 160 Jade for 1. Beads do not convert into Jade at 1:1, or at any rate. They are two independent branches of the economy with their own gacha pools, and any in-game prompt to "buy Echo Jade" runs through the Weiyang merchant, not a direct top-up.

The first-purchase bonus pays out in Echo Jade

This one is easy to misread by analogy with Genshin or ZZZ. The first-purchase bonus in Where Winds Meet does not double your Echo Beads. Instead, the first time you buy each denomination, the game adds Echo Jade equal to the base Bead count. The $0.99 pack delivers 60 Echo Beads and 60 Echo Jade; the $199.99 pack delivers 12,000 Echo Beads and 12,000 Echo Jade. On the smaller packs that is effectively a 100% value bump, on the larger packs it is closer to a 20% lift. The bonus fires once per denomination across all nine tiers and, as of May 2026, NetEase has not announced an anniversary reset, so the optimal play is to clear all the smaller packs in turn rather than buy the same one twice.

The πŸš€ and 🐌 markers are delivery routes, not regions

Each Echo Beads SKU in the Brawl Games catalogue appears twice β€” once with a πŸš€ marker and once with a 🐌 marker. These are not different regions, different servers or different in-game currencies. They are two delivery channels: πŸš€ is the fast route at a higher price, 🐌 is the slow route at a lower price. The Echo Beads themselves are identical and credit to the same global account by Character ID either way, and the first-purchase bonus is unaffected by the choice. The game server (NA, EU, Asia or HMT) is picked at character creation and is independent of the delivery channel.

The gacha is 100% cosmetic

Here is the cleanest break from Genshin, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero: WWM's gacha is cosmetic only. The Celestial Echo and Solemn Echo banners drop Cloud Garments (outfits), mounts, hairstyles, accessories and VFX skins for skills. There are no characters in the gacha and no weapons in the gacha. Every martial art and every combat technique is unlocked through the world β€” the Skill Theft system inside the various martial-arts schools, story progression and side quests. The meta does not depend on pulls: a free-to-play player has access to the same combat kits as a heavy spender. Buying Echo Beads is about how your character looks, how fast you finish the Battle Pass and which mount you ride, not about clearing endgame content.

Pity 150 with no soft pity, and one shared counter

The Legendary outfit/mount rate is 0.0415% and the Harmonic Core rate is 0.747%. Those numbers stay flat all the way to pull 150 β€” there is no Genshin-style soft pity that ramps from pull 75. On the 150th pull a guarantee fires and you receive a Legendary from the banner pool. It is not a 50/50, and it is not a guaranteed rate-up: any Legendary in the pool counts. The only way to target a specific outfit or mount is the Harmonic Core exchange β€” 2 Cores trade for any one piece in the Draw Shop. Going to pity blind costs about 150 Γ— 200 = 30,000 Echo Beads, or roughly $500 for one Legendary. The clever free-to-play hybrid play uses the fact that Celestial Echo and Solemn Echo share one pity counter: 70 pulls on Solemn with free Echo Jade plus 80 pulls on Celestial with Echo Beads land the same guaranteed Legendary at roughly half the cost of a pure Celestial run.

Monthly Pass and the three Battle Pass tiers

The Monthly Pass is a 30-day subscription priced around $4.67. It pays out 300 Echo Beads on activation and then 100 Echo Jade per daily login β€” across a full cycle that adds up to 300 Beads, 3,000 Jade, 90,000 Coin, 1,500 Battle Pass EXP and 1 Lingering Melody. It is not a recurring auto-renew, so you re-buy every 30 days, and missed days do not roll over. The Battle Pass itself runs on three tiers: Free, Elite at $9.99 and Collection at $19.99. The Brawl Games catalogue lists the top tier as Premium Battle Pass, and that is not a cosmetic rename of Elite: Premium maps to Collection in-game, which means +10 instant levels, +2 Medicine capacity, +18 Inventory and a portable merchant. The pass is tied to the version cycle β€” about 5 to 6 weeks per season β€” and levels 51–80 hand out Battle Pass Tokens for a curated seasonal Battle Pass Shop.

Servers, Character ID and the Russian text patch

The global build runs on four server clusters: North America, Europe, Asia and TW/HK/MO (HMT). The server is picked when the character is created and cannot be changed β€” there is no cross-region transfer in May 2026. Progress and Echo Beads sync across PC (Steam, Epic, NetEase launcher), iOS and Android; PS5 lives on its own Sony account. The top-up identifier is the Character ID, a numeric value next to your nickname in the Profile Menu (typically 9 to 11 digits). The mainland-China build, 燕云十六声, is a separate product β€” global accounts cannot log into it and vice versa. Official Russian text and UI shipped with Version 1.5 "As Snow Falls" in April 2026; before that the only option was the community DOG729 patch. There is no Russian voice-over as of May 2026 β€” only Chinese, English and Japanese audio.

How to place the order

  1. Open the Profile Menu in-game and copy your Character ID.
  2. Confirm your server β€” NA, EU, Asia or HMT (TW/HK/MO).
  3. Pick the pack β€” Echo Beads, Monthly Pass, Elite or Premium Battle Pass.
  4. Enter the Character ID and server at checkout.
  5. Pay and wait for the credit to land on the linked account.
