FAQ

Buy Oneiric Shards for Honkai: Star Rail: packs, the Express Supply Pass and Nameless Honor

Honkai: Star Rail is HoYoverse's turn-based space-fantasy RPG, where a four-character party rides the Astral Express across worlds and fights through a system of elemental weaknesses and Toughness bars. As of spring 2026 the playable map covers Herta Space Station, Jarilo-VI, the Xianzhou Luofu, Penacony and Amphoreus — the Greek-myth region that has carried the third and fourth story arcs. The live build is Version 4.2 "So Laughed the Masses", launched on 22 April 2026 as the third-anniversary patch. Oneiric Shards are the premium currency that funds warps on the limited banners, Light Cones and the paid Nameless Honor tiers.

  • 1:1 conversion into Stellar Jade for warps and Special Star Rail Passes
  • 5-star character outfits sold only for Oneiric Shards
  • Activation of the paid Nameless Honor tracks (Glory or Medal)
  • First-time x2 bonus on every one of the six Shard denominations
  • Express Supply Pass subscription for a daily Stellar Jade allowance
  • Pack ladder: 60 / 300+30 / 980+110 / 1980 / 3280+600 / 6480+1600

How the Shard-Jade economy reads

Stellar Jade is the soft currency you earn for free through Trailblaze Missions, exploration, daily training and events. Oneiric Shards are bought with real money and convert to Jade 1:1, or get spent on store-exclusive SKUs — premium 5-star outfits, certain cosmetic bundles and the paid Battle Pass tracks. The warp exchange rate is fixed: 1 Star Rail Special Pass = 160 Stellar Jade, and that figure is what every "how many Shards do I need for hard pity" calculation rests on. The first-purchase x2 bonus applies once per denomination — the "980+110" pack drops 1,960 Shards plus the 110 Jade kicker on top. With Version 4.2 (22 April 2026) the doubler reset for the third anniversary, so all six denominations are available for the bonus again on accounts that bought through them earlier.

Warps, the 50/50 and why HSR has no Capturing Radiance

The gacha here is called the Warp. On a limited character event banner, hard pity hits at 90 pulls, the soft pity zone starts around 74, and the first 5-star runs on a clean 50/50 — either the featured character or one of the standard pool. Lose the coin flip and the next 5-star is guaranteed featured. Unlike Genshin (since Version 5.0) and Zenless Zone Zero, HSR has no Capturing Radiance equivalent as of Version 4.2 — there is no hidden second chance, so plan your reserve against a full 180-pull guarantee. The pity counter and lost-50/50 flag carry between character event banners of the same family, but they do not pool with the Stellar Warp or Light Cone Warp.

Light Cones: 75/25, no Fate Points and Path matching

Light Cones are the HSR equivalent of weapons, but with one critical twist: the cone's passive only activates when its Path matches the character's Path. A mismatch leaves you with raw HP/ATK/DEF and no skill effect at all. The Light Cone Event Warp uses an 80-pull hard pity rather than 90, soft pity from pull 63, and a 75/25 split in favour of the featured cone instead of 50/50. There is no Fate Points or Epitomized Path mechanic the way Genshin's weapon banner runs — guarantee closes after a single lost split. Duplicate cones raise Superimposition from S1 to S5, sharpening the passive, so extra copies for a key carry are usually more valuable than they look on paper.

Express Supply Pass: stack to 180 days, then a payout cap

The Express Supply Pass is a 30-day, $4.99 subscription: 300 Oneiric Shards on activation and a daily Stellar Jade payout of 90 for the next month. That works out to 2,700 Jade per cycle plus the one-off Shard chunk for outfits or the paid BP. The pass stacks, but the ceiling is firm at six concurrent activations (180 days). The "x3" and "x6" entries in catalogues are not separate SKUs — they are 90 and 180 days of total subscription length. The catch: if your account already sits at 180 days, a fresh purchase does not extend the timer. It collapses into a one-time payout of 300 Shards and 30 Jade, with no daily mail thereafter. Buying "a year ahead" is wasted budget — the cap is hard.

Nameless Honor: two paid tiers and exclusive Light Cones

Nameless Honor is the BP system, running for one full version (around 42 days) up to level 50. The free track is Nameless Gift. The paid track ships in two tiers: the basic Nameless Glory ($9.99) and the deluxe Nameless Medal ($19.99) — the latter adds ten levels and extra rewards. The premium track delivers 680 Stellar Jade, four Star Rail Special Passes, levelling materials and a 5-star Light Cone of your choice from a BP-exclusive pool (Past and Future, Today Is Another Peaceful Day, Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds, Warm Nights Won't Come Again — patch decides which three are on offer). Level 50 of the paid track also bundles one Self-Modeling Resin, an item class Genshin does not have at all.

Trailblaze Power, the overflow buffer and Self-Modeling Resin

HSR's stamina is Trailblaze Power — capped at 300, regenerating one point every six minutes (240 per day). Above that sits Reserved Trailblaze Power: once the main 300 is full, surplus regen rolls into an overflow buffer up to 2,400 points at one point per 18 minutes. It withdraws in 300-point chunks per action. Genshin's Original Resin has no such buffer — overflow is simply lost — and that single design difference means you can skip several days of relic farming in HSR without burning resources. Refilling Trailblaze Power with Stellar Jade is available a limited number of times per day on a rising cost curve, so it is a planned spend rather than a daily habit. Relics themselves (HSR's artifact equivalent) drop from Caverns of Corrosion at the cost of Trailblaze Power, but HSR ships a tool Genshin lacks: Self-Modeling Resin. One Resin produces a relic with a chosen main stat; up to five Resins together produce a relic with two chosen substats on top of that main stat. Sources include level 20 of the free Nameless Honor track, level 50 of the paid track, events and the Simulated Universe shop. It strips a lot of the RNG out of the final polish on a build — Genshin offers no targeted artifact pipeline at all.

Three parallel endgames: Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, Apocalyptic Shadow

HSR runs three independent endgame modes with their own reward tracks:

  • Memory of Chaos — 12 floors, two phases each, four minutes a phase, single-target DPS focus. Up to 800 Jade for a full 36-star clear, rotating roughly every six weeks.
  • Pure Fiction — wave-and-AoE format with conditional buffs, designed to reward Erudition and Elation builds rather than single-target burst.
  • Apocalyptic Shadow — boss-focused, Break-damage led with elemental-weakness buffs; added in Version 2.3, and the first Difficulty 2 clear hands out a free 4-star Xueyi plus 300 Jade.

A 100% cycle across all three nets roughly 2,400 Jade — about fifteen warps of free reward on top of quests and patch events.

Eidolons, Departure Warp and Embers Exchange

Beyond character levels, the long-tail progression is Eidolons (E1 to E6) — HSR's Constellation analogue. E1/E2/E4/E6 grant unique passives, while E3/E5 raise Skill, Talent and Ultimate levels. Standard-banner duplicates convert into Undying Starlight, which trades for a guaranteed standard 5-star at 600 Starlight a month through the Embers Exchange — a steady route to E1+ on cornerstone characters. The starter Departure Warp is available to new accounts only: 50 pulls at a 20% discount (128 Jade per warp instead of 160) with a guaranteed 5-star inside those 50 — the one banner in HSR with a guarantee shorter than 90 pulls.

Eight Paths and the Toughness Break system

A character's class in HSR is its Path. As of May 2026, eight are playable: Destruction, The Hunt, Erudition, Harmony, Nihility, Preservation, Abundance and Remembrance (added in 3.0). A ninth — Elation — arrived through the Trailblazer in 4.2 as the first Lightning-Elation MC variant. Every enemy carries a Toughness bar and a list of weaknesses; weakness hits drain the bar, and emptying it triggers a Weakness Break with an element-specific debuff: Fire applies DoT, Ice freezes, Quantum inflicts Entanglement, Imaginary applies Imprisonment, Lightning causes Shock, Wind ticks Wind Shear, and Physical bleeds. This is fundamentally not Genshin's elemental-reaction system or ZZZ's Stun-bar, and weaknesses are what dictate which units make a fight comp for a given boss.

Version 4.2, the anniversary and the Fate/stay night collab

The third anniversary patch (4.2 "So Laughed the Masses") went live on 22 April 2026 with a free, selectable standard 5-star via the Golden Companion Spirit in the Stellar Convergence Shop, around 30 free pulls from login events and codes, and a reset of the first-purchase x2 bonus across all six Shard packs. The selection window for the free 5-star runs from 21 April 2026 through the end of Version 4.4. The 4.x cycle is also home to the Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works collaboration — HSR's first major external-IP collab (Genshin has had none through to 2026), with Wave 2 slated for Version 4.3 on 3 June 2026 (EU/Asia). The next regional teaser is Astropolis, announced in the 4.0 Special Program for the back half of the 4.x cycle.

Servers, UID, Equilibrium Level and how the top-up reaches the account

HSR runs on four servers: America (UID starts with 6), Europe (7), Asia (8) and TW/HK/MO (9). The UID is a nine-digit code in the bottom-right corner of the main menu and on the profile card; the first digit fixes the region, and you cannot switch servers after the fact. The same HoYoverse account ties together PC (HoYoPlay/Epic), iOS, Android and PlayStation 5, and PSN purchases credit the same UID. PS4, Xbox and Switch are not supported officially; the physical Trailblazer Edition for PS5 launched on 31 March 2025. One detail unique to HSR is Equilibrium Level (EL): a world-tier ladder you raise through the Trial of the Equilibrium at TL 20/30/40/50/60/65, currently capped at EL 7 with TL 70 — Genshin would handle this with a single Adventure Rank. UID-based delivery means no login needed; the order resolves on whichever client signs into the account next.

How to place a Honkai: Star Rail top-up

  1. Open your in-game profile and copy your UID.
  2. Pick the SKU — Oneiric Shards, Express Supply Pass or a Nameless Honor paid track.
  3. Enter the UID and choose the server (America / Europe / Asia / TW, HK, MO).
  4. Double-check the data on the checkout screen and complete payment.
  5. Wait for delivery — Shards and the subscription land on the linked UID.

If you are into the genre or the publisher

  • Genshin Impact — HoYoverse's open-world action RPG with Genesis Crystals and the Welkin Moon subscription; the Crystal-to-Primogem economy mirrors Shards-to-Jade 1:1.
  • Zenless Zone Zero — HoYoverse's urban action title with Monochrome/Polychrome and the Inter-Knot Membership; the same UID-based top-up flow but a real-time combat loop instead of HSR's turn-based one.
  • Honkai Impact 3rd — the older HoYoverse project in the Honkai universe; Welt, Bronya and Seele all came to HSR from HI3, which makes it the obvious next stop for lore players.
  • Wuthering Waves — Kuro Games' open-world action RPG with Astrites and the Lunite Subscription, HSR's closest live-service rival on the gacha shelf with real-time combat instead of turns.

The Brawl Games catalogue lists all six Oneiric Shard denominations from 60 to 6480, Express Supply Pass options up to the 180-day stack and the paid Nameless Honor tracks. Checkout requires the UID and the chosen server; payment is accepted from Russia and the CIS. The on-site chat is available before checkout for questions about a specific pack or order status.
